This page will walk you through the fun at the Fairy Tale interactive!
Let's Get Started...
At this introductory screen, click on tell me a story to begin!
As the interactive tells the story, the images change. A child can choose next to continue, choose back to go back, or choose pause to pause the reading.
At the end of the telling of the story, click BEGIN to go on to the interactive lessons on story elements.
The first element is the setting. The interactive begins by teaching about setting.The text shows on the screen and is read aloud. A child can click the speaker to hear it again. When ready, click next.
Next, the interactive provides a quiz activity to see what the child has learned.
THe interactive tells the child reight away if they are incorrect, and lets themkeep trying until they get it right.
Once the child is correct, the interactive reviews the concept once more. The child can click back to go back over it, or click next to go on.
The interactive works the child similarly through all of the elements of story, including:

At the end, the child can go on and take an interactive quiz over all of the elements together!
Not only is this interactive a lot of fun for a child to work with a familiar story, but it really reinforces the concepts taught throughout the program!
